Where can young people in Kent go to find things to do?

Youth Hubs

These are places for young people to come meet friends, hang out, with lots of things going on. You can also drop in and meet with local advisers and get specialist support.

Come and talk to the youth workers

The youth service are happy to talk to you about anything you need support and advice on. It could be you need advice on education, employment and training, sexual health advice or where to get condoms. Whatever your needs, we are here to help. If the person best suited to help you isn’t available, we can make an appointment for you to meet with them – you might need to fill in a referral form.

If you just want a place to ‘be’, then that is OK too. The type of people you may meet include:

  • counsellors
  • drug and alcohol workers
  • early help family support workers
  • education welfare officers
  • mental health and wellbeing support workers
  • sexual health advisors
  • training providers
  • workers from other support services
  • youth offending officers
  • youth workers

Find your local youth hub and see what activities are happening and how you can become involved.
