Keep It Private

You’re Not Alone – Support If You’re Worried About Sharing an Explicit Image

Sometimes things happen online that feel scary, overwhelming or out of your control.
If you’ve shared an image, feel pressured to send one, or something has already been shared without your consent — you are not alone, and help is available.

This page brings together places that can support you, help you stay safe, and guide you through what to do next.

Talk to a trusted adult

You don’t have to handle this alone.
A trusted adult could be:

  • A parent or carer
  • A teacher or pastoral/safeguarding lead
  • A youth worker
  • A relative you feel safe with

They can help you get support, make a plan, and feel less overwhelmed.

Remember

  • You are not to blame.
  • You deserve to feel safe.
  • You’re not alone in this.
  • There are people who want to help.
